Account Manager - Japan



  • Experience: 2-3yrs post MBA/3-4yrs post Bachelor’s Degree, in Post Sales/Account Management/Relationship Management functions, in a B2B set-up.
  • Managing online advertising campaigns for Clients, preferably in e-com, online travel, group-buy & classifieds verticals.


Skill set

  • Strong relationship management background
  • Has strong experience in invoicing and managing collections and maintaining DSO targets
  • Knowledge of internet technologies and marketing platforms
  • Understands Online Advertising jargons and can cohesively communicate with Clients on aspects such as: SEO, SEM, GA, Cost of Acquisition, RoI, View-thru, Hover & etc.
  • Appreciates technology (HTML, JAVA, XML, PHP) and its able to add value while understanding basic tech-based issues in campaigns

  • Articulate & insightful with mid-level client/vendor executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and local language i.e. Japanese

Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the overall relationship between Client and Vizury
  • Responsible for raising invoices in time and collecting cash in line with the target DSO.  Reconciling invoices and ensuring that there exists no discrepancy between Client and Vizury
  • Upselling additional products and/or services, to assigned Clients, in coordination with the Geo Program Manager
  • Responsible for sharing analysis and assortment of metrics on campaign performance with the assigned Clients
  • Responsible for ensuring that the campaigns get renewed in-time and for maintaining updated contract documents
  • Communicating campaign performance feedback, campaign suggestions, issues and concerns raised by Clients, to Geo Program Manager and further ensuring that the solution is made available to Clients and that their satisfaction recorded
  • Owning post-sale communications with our clients. Being the team’s point of contact person for any questions from the client
  • Understanding the client’s business objectives and effectively communicating the same with Geo Program Manager regularly, so as to ensure that Client expectations are met
  • Keep an eye out of competition in the market and inform the Geo Program Manager and Head BD, accordingly
